Shin damage could keep Fajardo out of PH Cup, conceivably more, says source

SAN Miguel’s offered for a 6th in a row PBA Philippine Cup title endured a goliath blow.

Truly and metaphorically.

Primary man June Mar Fajardo went down with shin damage that could keep him out for the whole all-Filipino meeting and, perhaps, for the remainder of the period.

The five-time association MVP previously endured similar damage before that kept him out of activity for two months during the 2018 Governors Cup.

San Miguel the executives is relied upon to give an official articulation on the issue.

The Beermen are gunning for a 6th consecutive Philippine Cup title in the class’ 45th season that commences on March 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

They start their title resistance on premiere night against Magnolia in a rematch of a year ago’s finals.

For what it’s worth, the Cebuano large man has just been kept separate from the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the February window of the Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers.
